Well, heard this at a friends house. His 14 year old his son was playing the Bobby Shew solos (out of the book) along with Maiden Voyage CD vol. 54. He said Listening to Bobby Shew made it easier because you can't write the phrasing. So, out of the mouth of babes. This is good stuff...
