De compositie Voice of the Vikings beschrijft de geschiedenis van de Vikingen, een noordelijk volk dat zich opmaakte om met kunstig uitgesneden schepen de wereld te veroveren. Natuurlijk waren ze ook berucht vanwege hun gruwelijke gevechten en wreedheid. De Vikingen hielden van de zee en geloofden dat ze na de dood met een schip naar het paradijs zouden varen. De thuiskomst van de zeelui werd altijd goed gevierd, er werden verhalen over de beleefde avonturen verteld en soms traden er zelfs acrobaten, jongleurs of clowns op.

And of course they were also notorious for gruesome fighting and cruelty. The Vikings loved the sea and believed that after death, they would sail in their ships to paradise. The homecoming of Viking sailors was always a big celebration, and many stories would be told about their adventures, which would often feature acrobats, jugglers and clowns.

Évidemment ils étaient aussi de notoriété sanguinaire. Les Vikings aimaient la mer, et croyaient qu’après la mort, on naviguait en bateau au paradis. Die Komposition Voice of the Vikings beschreibt die Geschichte der Wikinger, einem nordischen Volk das sich mit ihren kunstvoll geschnitzten Schiffen aufmachte um die Welt zu erobern. Natürlich waren Sie auch durch ihre grauenvollen Kämpfe und Brutalität berüchtigt. Die Wikinger liebten das Meer und meinten auch, dass man nach dem Tod mit einem Schiff ins Paradies reisen würde. Nach der Heimkehr der Seeleute wurde aber auch viel gefeiert, es wurden Abenteuergeschichten erzählt und manchmal traten sogar Akrobaten, Jongleure oder Clowns auf. Spannung bis zur letzten Note!
