The solo part stays the same, but the keyboard part has been arranged for three cellos. This also works perfectly for cello duo - just play the solo part (cello 1) and the bass part (cello 4). Better than reading off the keyboard part - includes bowings and improvements for playing on the cello.
Great for a studio recital: one student can play all four solo movements, or a different one can play each movement and then accompany the soloist on other movements.
Cello 1 - original solo part, all bass clef, up to fourth position
Cello 2 - all bass clef, up to second position
Cello 3 - all bass clef, all first position
Cello 4 - all bass clef, all first position
Cello 3 and 4 could be played by an advanced beginner with good counting skills.
