Variations on the 15th century Christmas carol Noel Nouvelet which is in the Dorian mode (often sung as "Sing We Now of Christmas" or as the Easter hymn "Now the green blade riseth" in English speaking countries).
I have provided several variations here, including versions with drone (reminiscent of bagpipes or hurdy gurdy), comic and curious rhythmical alternatives, soloing in the bass part and various harmonic curiosities.
