Composed in the key of E minor with a couple of sections that explore some closely related keys that are very playable. I scored this piece in 1st position throughout except for a couple of places that requires the cellos to briefly go to a higher position. I used some contemporary harmonies for contrast. Care should be taken on accidentals that occur throughout. I hope you and your string ensemble enjoy rehearsing and performing my composition, Thank you!
