This arrangement of "This Joyful Eastertide is written for string orchestra. It includes a third violin part which doubles as viola or can also be used by violinists who are not quite up to Violin II technical difficulty. In addition the Violin II is divisi part way through and including the ending. The work begins in the key of Eb Major and modulates on the last verse to A Major. This composition is well within the capabilities of the Intermediate student or adult community orchestra. Third position is used only for a few bars in the Violin I part.
