Camille Saint-Saëns wrote O Carnaval dos Animais, Grande Fantasia Zoológica, in 1886 as a joke to amuse his friends at Carnaval time. The Swan (Le Cygne): Original theme by Saint-Saëns, the cello plays over piano harmonies. At the end he "falls asleep".
