Good introductions to hymns
These short preleudes are useful as introductions to the hymn being sung. They are all found in the Episcopal hymnal, but many are found in other hymnals as well. Many can be played on manuals only. Because of the dissonant harmony found in many, they may be more suitable for more musically sophisticated congregations.
