William Sterndale Bennett (1816-1875) was a successful English musician who was perhaps best known as a music educator, having taught at the Royal Academy of Music and at Queens College, London. While he had success as a composer early in life, his works are mostly unknown. The Naiades Overture,Op. 15 (1836) is a finely crafted work and a good example of his compositional style. It is also a remarkable work given his age when it was written. As with all Zephyrwindmusic publications, parts come with an Unlimited Copy License, thus removing any copyright issues in the way parts are used.
