Perfect for weddings, this carefully prepared violin solo or duet arrangement with piano accompaniment presents the theme 3 times through, beginning in G and modulating D. The piano/violin score also includes suggested guitar chords. The arrangement accurately captures the rhythms, harmonies and chord voicings of Jay and Molly's concert and recorded performances.
Convenient pull-out parts are provided for the violinists. Jay Ungar is nationally recognized for having composed and performed "Ashokan Farewell", the theme of the PBS series "The Civil War." The Lover's Waltz
I got this at a student's request to learn the piece---this rendition is all we might have hoped for, and more! It is great that the accompaniment includes chord names along with the full piano score, and the second violin part is a bonus. A lovely piece and a good edition.

Lover's Waltz
Good piece when working with one or two violins. Piano provides great harmony line in places and gives the violins good support. Beautiful piece of music.

Just beautiful!
Absolutely lovely music and easy to learn. I bought this to play just one violin part (not as a duet). The piece also lends itself nicely to ornamentation. You can find recordings of Ungar himself playing it for inspiration. The shipping from Sheet Music Plus was also much faster than the estimated delivery time.

Nice Waltz
The music is beautiful and it is fairly easy to play, not much practice required to get it up and running. You can play the whole thing in first position if you choose.
