A good buy
This was asked for at a wedding, and although I've heard it many times, I had not studied the score. I would endorse the comment that, whilst the melody is good, the inner parts are not as fluent or melodic. That apart, the choir have enjoyed rehearsing and performing it.

Strong melodic setting
This is something we do a lot at weddings, with soloist and unison mixed voices, which works very well. My children's choir is learning a modified arrangement now, and really enjoying it. The piano part is accessible for the average player, and supports the drama of the melody well.

Super Choice
My wife and I had watched the BBC TV series, The Vicar of Dibley on DVD this past winter. The theme from the show was so beautiful. I searched to find a supplier of the music. I ordered a set for our church choir. Our church choir was impressed with the music. It is simple but challenging; a good note reading challenge. Our organist and accompanist was impressed as well. He thought it was the best piece of music we have bought for a long time. A heavenly sound !

lovely melody
While the melody of this anthem is beautiful, I find the parts to be not terribly well-written. My better-than-average choir is not enjoying it as well as we hoped.

The Lord is My Shepherd
This is a beautiful setting of the 23rd Psalm. It's for SATB, but could be sung by a solo voice as well. We used it for a funeral, but it's appropriate for any service. It's not overly difficult; the accompaniment is easy for either organ or piano.Highly recommended.
