This English Christmas Carol was first collected in the early 19th century.
My arrangement gives the original melody a modal accompaniment, as well as a newly-composed second melody. Although modal, it has a neobaroque feel along with with modern interpretation. At three minutes long, it would do well as a Prelude, Postlude, of Interlude for a Christmas season service. Please note that my registrations are merely suggestions and you are free to experiment with sound combinations. Thank you.
