Outstanding arrangements
What a fantastic book! What I love about each of the books in this series is the little known carols Mr Shackley brings to us. The variety of arrangements is delightful. Especially wonderful in the British Isles book is the medley Christmas Legends and the absolutely beautiful arrangement of In The Bleak Midwinter. Certainly the best solo piano arrangement of that song I have played. Highly recommended series.

Hauntingly beautiful
I love to play during the holidays and this series of books is wonderful. The level is advanced but accessible with a little work. I play these pieces just to relax. Any music teacher should consider these for a more advanced student. These would be lovely in church as a prelude or offertory when there is no organ.
