Beautiful and Develops Technic

As a piano teacher of many years (with a B.A. in Piano Performance), I am constantly searching for engaging music that pleases and technically challenges students and also will be enjoyed by audiences. I had viewed the one-page sample of this piece and briefly listened to an excerpt of it, then added it to my monthly order. As soon as my order from SheetMusicPlus arrived, I sat down at my grand piano to play through each solo. My husband (who loves classical music) was listening to me play. He listened to each piece, but only this solo brought an immediate response from him. He wanted to know the title of what I was playing, the composer, and then requested that I play it again. Proof positive about the qualities of this piece!

Beautiful!

I'd highly recommend Timothy Brown's music to piano students and teachers alike. His music is accessible, yet challenging and rewarding to play. This particular piece stands out to me, it's greats for developing weaker fingers as the 4th/5th fingers in the RH are required to bring out the melody notes above the accompaniment. A really lovely piece for Grade 5+.
