Composed by Jim Stewart. Arranged by Christine Chase. This edition: pdf. Celtic, Chamber, Folk, Historic, Instructional, Irish. 8 pages. Christine Chase #1355572. Published by Christine Chase (A0.1795344).

The Calm was originally written by Jim Stewart to be performed by Irish whistle and various folk instrumentalists. It was first performed in the 2002 for the Opera New Brunswick production of The Marco Polo Suite-a Folk Opera. Christine had created this to enable the SJSQ to perform it with the folk musicians. The gentle reverence of the strings, capturing the gratitude felt by passengers, having survived the sea storm.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
