Logic Broken defies what reality is ahead of us. While the sun sets and the moon rises, and challenges come our way, we know how that feels. My work, Logic Broken, really captures how I feel and how others might feel. Logic Broken is a standard 4/4 groove that breaks logic. Some percussionists might feel the piece as a 7/8 groove. Rhythms and accent placement, however, could confuse the performer(s) as they are not used to reading off-placed rhythms. I hope that my work will be a fun experience for you and your ensemble!
