'The Archers' is the world's longest running Radio soap opera, having been broadcast continuously by the BBC since 1951. The theme tune of The Archers is called "Barwick Green" and is a maypole dance from the suite 'My Native Heath', written in 1924 by the Yorkshire composer Arthur Wood. The orchestral arrangement is reduced to solo piano by Marcus Martin and is the complete composition.
