Sybil for Solo Bass Clarinet Bass Clarinet - Sheet Music

Antony Clare was born in Nottingham in 1964. He read music at York University and has subsequently combined private instrumental teaching with a range of performing activities. He has formed several successful partnerships with local musicians, focusing on the contemporary music repertoire. In addition to being one half of SCAW (with Sarah Watts, bass clarinet), he particularly enjoys performing 20th century English song repertoire and playing chamber music for piano and wind as pianist with the Hough Ensemble. His composition 'Sybil' was written for bass clarinet soloist Sarah Watts, who did extensive research on bass clarinet multiphonics. This piece is a great illustration on the integration of multiphonics in contemporary music.
