All these Supplemental Studies Rubank books
These are all wonderful beginning etudes. They are musical, entertaining to play and parents love hearing their student perform for relatives from this book. The more music a beginning student likes and has to play the better they will get. I still have my original copy when it was 75 cents. It is still a good buy today though.

Wonderful collection of etudes!
I simply love this collection of etudes for clarinet. I am a professional musician w/ a long history of playing piano, strings (classical and folk) and French horn, but no woodwinds until a year ago, when I began playing clarinet. The etudes in this collection are musical, many quite lovely, so they're very enjoyable to play while focusing on some of the more challenging aspects of clarinet playing. Each successive one has stretched me, pushing me to work through various blocks, and giving me great musical satisfaction while doing so. I just bought my own copy after borrowing my teacher's copy for several months. Highly recommended. Difficulty ranges from advanced beginner through intermediate.
