Fun piece for the developing student flutist!
Per the review title, yes, an enjoyable fun piece for the developing flute student (in my first year of using this piece in some portion or other for a couple of students in their study/performance curriculum). This is also likely an enjoyable lighter fare piece for a professional recital! First movement, good for scale dexterity and effecting long flowey phrase lines; the second movement, great for mood and tone color; the third, more technically challenging 6/8 main theme sections, but with reprises of the 1st and 2nd movements also. Students enjoy the more modern, yet still accessible, compositional language. Good quality printed edition.
