This score was initially written for one of the many junior orchestras I trained over the years. The tune, which is in semibreves and has the two notes a fifth apart can thus be played by each section, even cellos and violin 3s! The rhythmic repetition also helped to develop rhythmic playing at an early stage. The harmonic style is intended to prepare the ear for more complex harmonies as technique progresses 2018 Chamber Music Contest Entry
