A brand new original piece for Bassoon with Piano accompaniment. A great piece for a recital or concert or as an exam piece for GCSE. It is not particularly demanding of range, but needs good control of dynamics and expression, and the melody is not quite as straightforward as it sounds. The accompaniment gives the piece a Latin feel, rather like a habanera.
There is no doubling between the piano and bassoon, which makes it ideal as an exam piece. But is also useful as a filler in a concert.
