Lovely piece, oboe solo
I love 'What Child Is This in many forms. This is a beautiful oboe solo, basically a simple composition to read, but can be played with emotion, correct note pitches, volume changes and in a middle range that Early intermediate players can play well. It comes with the piano accompaniment. Since performing live and working with a piano player generally is stressful, this will be a piece with few hidden dangers or tricky moves. it is lovely and should be easy to prepare for a Christmas performance by anyone without a great deal of preparation, except a piano player is needed. Note the tempo speed, not too slow.
