Solid Dire Straits Charts for Live Play
For live work, this songbook delivers. The 'Authentic transcriptions' for Dire Straits hits are reliable, ensuring I sound true to the originals. Crucially, 'chord names' and 'guitar chord diagrams' are included, which is a must for quick sight-reading on gigs. At 152 pages, some songs might have page turns mid-performance, but it’s a standard trade-off for such a comprehensive collection of 'Intermediate' level material. A valuable addition to the gig bag.

Good for Vocalists with Guitar Accompaniment
While this is an electric guitar songbook, the inclusion of 'vocal melody' and 'lyrics' makes it useful for coaching singers performing Dire Straits tunes. Poor Quality
I was disappointed in the print quality of this book. It looks blurry. The guitar tabs are really small anyway, so having the print quality being so poor, it's really difficult to read. Too bad. Mark Knopfler is a genius quitar player and I really wanted to study his work.

A collection of photocopies. NOT DECENT
There is not any layout. It is nearly a collection of photocopies from different books put together. I got four books (mike stern, ozzy and Rhandy,etc. Perfect) and when I opened this one...just the sight is unacceptable I will ask for more books in Hal Leonard and musicsheetplus, really love them, but this book is not worthy of getting along with Hal Leonard and Sheetmusicplus
