Spring Serenade was written for Butler University Wind Ensemble's Robert Greschesky and a 2006 wind ensemble music festival hosted by the school. "The work brims with lively themes, rich chorales, lyrical lines and fanfarish gestures, all celebrating the beautiful, rich colors inherent in the glorious sounds of wind instruments," says the composer.
