Good material for serious student
These well-written melodies are a great resource for developing musicians. This series (Skilful Studies) contains the same 40 tunes, transposed to appropriate keys, and are helpful for teaching musicianship beyond just right notes and rhythms. Phrases are shown with breath marks and plenty of articulation markings and dynamics are given. A wide variety of key signatures (from four sharps to three flats) and time signatures (4/4, 3/4, 2/4, 2/2, 6/8) are used. Rhythms advance from eighth notes and dotted quarters to sixteenths by the end of the volume.This clarinet volume does not cross the break until the eighth study
