DESCIRPTION:
I originally arranged this for an ensemble in school with a talented viola player. I have since reworked it for full String Orchestra, but included easy viola and cello parts.

Ideal for a school string ensemble or an advanced primary strings group. Alternatively it would be a good sight reading exercise for an intermediate string ensemble or a step to bridge the gap, to ready students for an intermediate group.
The piece will improve confidence with string crossing in both of the violin parts, which is mostly between a fingered string and an open string. Interlocking parts will encourage shared tempo and promote rhythmic accuracy. The viola part is the most technical; falling somewhere between grade 3 and grade 4, it forms the under-structure that the violin parts mesh with whilst also incorporating the tune and an original counter-melody.

This arrangement was designed to enable teachers to reinforce techniques learnt in one-to-one or group lessons. This peice of modern and popular repertoire will appeal to older children and teenagers.

Update:
I have now added an easy cello part which omits all of the original tricky sections, and spruced up the original part where a more experienced player might become bored. The easy cello part would be suitable for a pupil who is approaching, or has achieved grade 1. The piece will retain its integrity regardless of which part is played.

Included:
You will receive a score of comprising violins i and ii, viola and cello. Each individual part is included, plus the easy cello part and the piano reduction. You will also receive a full score with both the easy cello part and the piano reduction.
