There are no doubt many arrangements of Schumann's "Traumerei," but I felt I needed to write this one for my community orchestra. It has a clear, uncluttered harmonic texture that I think maximizes the expressiveness of the piece. There are minimal divisis (for 3 chords), which will simplify things for intermediate groups. There is also a supportive piano part (playing parts that are in the strings, but avoiding the melody), should you have a pianist in your orchestra (or want one). The arrangement is suitable for intermediate groups, but also for advanced and professional groups. Duration: 2 minutes, 14 seconds.
