This collection includes all major and melodic minor scales (including arpeggios) in first position for the violin. The first two sections have each scale written without a key signature and brackets where each half step occurs. In seeing each scale written this way the student can visualize a better relation between sharps, flats, finger patterns, etc. The last two sections place each scale with their appropriate key signature.
