Some of these pieces have been featured on Dr. Stevens' recent CDs such as "Romanza of the Heart," "Winter Serenade... Come Home," and "Like a Dream Flying By." Some of these songs have never been previously released. But all fit together cohesively as a fine group of original sacred piano compositions. Stevens is a prolific composer residing in Nashville, TN where he serves as the Music Department Chairman at Welch College. He is known internationally for his choral anthems, piano arrangements/compositions, and piano improvisation workshops. Many of his recent piano pieces can be heard on Pandora Radio and Spotify. Very appropropriate title.
Purchased this collection yesterday and was able to sit down last evening and play through the entire book. Loved, loved, loved it! This composer has a style about him that really speaks to my heart and brings me peace as I play these beautiful arrangements.
