My Rush
It's been a long time..
Wow, Subdivisions is a special favorite to me and my drum kit ever since we've all met getting together.. I love these Hal Leonard books!!! I'm glad the Issue includes Limelight and other well liked songs too. Wish it included Vital Signs.. To me, the songs in many of these books seem more arranged for common five piece drum kit sets (without smaller tom or auxiliary parts).. Wish they included cymbal pitch size numbered to help figure out which size cymbal is used on particular things, lol.. When main cymbals are on the same stave notation, it can be difficult to figure out exactly which cymbal is suppose to be used, lol.. I love these books and audio, but liked having a real CD recording better than on-line audio. I'm just so thankful for these books to learn songs and play along with. :) Rush sure does use lots of detailed time signatures ..and advanced technique expression, lol, ..and I always knew they were German. Very cool book, thank you! |
