Processionals From The Pomp and Circumstance Marches by Edward Elgar Concert Band - Digital Sheet Music

By Edward Elgar

This is the answer to the endless repetitions needed to get a large number of graduates into their seats. This transcriptions contains music from all five of Edward Elgar's Pomp & Circumstance Marches, arranged is such a way as to give 7:34 minutes of music with no repeats, with an optional Dal Signo to extend it to 14 minutes. It is designed to be played by any large band or orchestra that is missing its graduating seniors. Once you start playing this at graduations, you will never go back to those endless "ice cream truck" repetitions of one or two melodies again. The music is all Elgar's, except for one or two transition notes, and represents his entire Opus 39 extant at the time. Marches #1 through #4 were composed between 1901 and 1907. March #5 was finished in 1930 and represents a more mature stage of his career. In this first release, string parts and score are included free of charge.
