This performance obligato is in the Key of C and matches up with Hymn 199 in the LDS Hymnal. There are two verses (rehearsal marks A and B ) for earlier flutist and two for players a bit more experienced (rehearsal marks C and D). The 4th verse (rehearsal mark D) should not be used in sacrament meeting. It is fun for home, but draws too much attention to the performer for sacrament meeting. All fit with an accompaniment straight out of the hymnbook.
While I have not looked in many other hymnbooks, the few I've looked at with my students lead me to think this would work with other hymnals, as long as the hymn is in the key of C.

Great arrangement!!
I played this arrangement in my churchs Sacrament Meeting a few years ago, and it was wonderful! It really brought the Spirit, and it wasnt too difficult to play. Everyone who heard it loved it, and I really enjoyed playing it myself. Id recommend it to anyone who is looking for an arrangement of this song, and its especially appropriate for around Easter.
