Here's a classical style piano song for the late intermediate that would have been played on a harpsichord, the keyboard instrument of the day. If you have a keyboard, use the harpsichord setting. In this period, some harpsichords had two layers of keys, each with its own dynamic level. This was the only way to change the dynamics. To be true to the day, there are only two dynamic ranges, mf and mp. This musical period also kept a strict adherence to the tempo, so only do a slight ritardando at the end. The final rolled chord is to be played on the beat from the bottom notes in the left hand to the top notes in the right hand, and not before the beat. Watch the fingering, mordents, which uses the upper neighbor, and the turn at the end, which uses both the upper and lower neighbor.
