    Not Early Advanced

    This book is misrepresented. There is one piece for the right hand only, and one for the right or left hand only. I don't think that fast series or 64 th notes should be EA.

    Absolutely WONDERFUL

    I purchased this book because I became interested in left hand music from Ravel's left hand concerto. However, as the editor states, much left hand music goes unappreciated in the shadow of the well-known Scriabin Prelude and Nocturne for the Left Hand Alone. I have now fallen in love with most of the music in here; the book has a good combination of exercises, short pieces, harder pieces, and left hand pieces that sound more like both hands playing at once. Some pieces are extremely challenging; the blumenfeld etude and the Alkan etude are some of the hardest pieces I've seen, but the book mixes up the difficulty level. Great way to improve upon your left hand or enjoy playing music that is truly beautiful.
