This beautiful music by Ravel was written in 1899 when he was studying composition with Gabriel Faure, and widely considered as a masterpiece for piano, I thought it would lend itself to the Clarinet Sextet nicely, and I think it does! Played sotto voce in a generous acoustic, this will sound glorious!
