The arrangements are for beginning string orchestra: violin, viola (2nd violin), cello (3rd violin). Double bass can use the cello part sounding an octave lower when applicable.
The repertoire for the orchestral arrangements in Orchestra Book I is the same progressive sequence as the beginning violin, viola and cello book I's for private study. The viola and cello orchestra parts are equally as active as violin but they vary from the solo book notation. This collection is ideal for beginning school music programs and group classes at community music schools.
