This triumphant Christmas Gathering Hymn is arranged as a beginner contrapuntal solo. A short transition invites a key change of a Perfect fourth. Each hand has an opportunity to carry the melody, and dynamics are written for each clef under the staff as an instructional aide. The hands remain close together through most of the solo. Graded as later intermediate because of the independence of the hands. Appropriate for any Christmas prelude, worship, concert, recital, or holiday setting. Performance Time: approx. 2:45.
