A hymn concertato arrangement of just verses 3 & 4 (soprano descant, unison choir/congregation, trumpet & organ). Ideal repertoire for Christmas Day. Verse 3 is in G major and the new and fresh descant is supported by the organ and enhanced by the trumpet. A two bar link passage allows for an upward key change to A flat major, an ideal key for both choir/congregation to proclaim in unison Yea, Lord, we greet Thee, born this happy morning. The trumpet provides a fitting descant for this verse with the soprano descant beginning at the 38th bar.
