Scartazzini has selected contemplative texts inspired by nature such as this poetic miniature and transformed them into subtle, delicate duos.
The countertenor (which also can be sung by a female voice) juxtaposes his own vocal part and the ethereal sounding cello part with light gestures on two crotales. In the third miniature a sense that the wind is barely whispering is conveyed by the voice.
