Spotted Pony (also known in older forms as Snowshoes) is a common and quick paced fiddle/jam tune dating back to the late 19th century. In this version, we've slowed it down and changed the time stamp to 3/4 Waltz time. This gives you the opportunity to enjoy just how lovely the song is when not played at breakneck speed.
Arranged in THREE PARTS for mountain dulcimer in standard DAd (1-5-8) tuning. No extra frets required. The melody part can be played alone by a single dulcimist, but the extra parts give the tune added depth for those who play in a group.
