In a previous review, I said that I needed a piano accompaniment. I found one here that works with this string quartet arrangement with very little adjustment. It's a Hal Leonard piano/vocal arrangement, Item Number: HX.431743

Very faithful to the original. I'm using it with my students, age 9 through adult. We're having lots of fun working on it. I tell them that this is the quintessential feel-good song; if this song doesn't improve their mood, then they need medication. The trickiest thing about it is reading the rhythms but it gives the students a reason to count. I've changed lots of bowing, mostly slurring eighth notes into the tied eighth+quarters. That makes it a lot easier to play. I wish there was a piano accompaniment to go with it. I'm getting ready to create one. That's lots of work but the piano is the motor of a student group; it keeps things going and makes it sound MUCH better. This would be great for gigs too, but I'd hesitate to hand it out for any level quartet to sight-read in public. Stumbling through the rhythms wouldn't feel good at all!
