Beware accompanist
I've not purchased this product, but I have found Robert Larsen's recorded accompaniment to one aria from this online as an mp3, and I thought I'd post this here in the spirit of caveat emptor.I am singing Non piu andrai, and I found his recording impossible to sing to. Puzzled, I pulled out my score and found that he seriously shortchanges his rests - one passage (scioppo in spalla/sciabla al fianco/collo dritto/musso franco/un gran casco o gran turbante/molto onor/poco contante) is totally worthless; he cuts every 2-beat rest in the accompaniment at least half a beat short, and this is where the hapless singer must fit his notes in at one-and-a-half times the actual tempo. He then proceeds to leave out the pickups to the next melody (ed in veci del fandango/una marcia per il fango), but that's merely annoying, and would not in itself ruin the recording as the pianist's inability to count does.
