Published by Sinfonia Music Co (A0.1719264).Moonlight & Roses was originally a musical piece composed by Edwin H Lamare an English organist who lived the latter part of his life in the US. The piece was called Andantino in D flat, and it became so popular he was asked to play it at nearly all of his concerts. It sold ten's of thousands of copies when it was published in 1892 by Robert Cocks in London. American songwriters Ben Black & Charles N Daniels (under the psuedenym Neil Moret) added the words to the melody without permission in 1921. The song became very popular and sold over 1 million copies worldwide. This lovely song has been arranged for full brass band and is easy to medium in difficulty.
