Recent composition. It's a bit like Moanin' + Bebop + Mingus. In F minor with a tenor solo to open, 2 open solo sections and a massive finish. For fun's sake there is a shmultz section prior to the reprise of the nasty uptempo theme just before the end. This is scored with 1x clarinet, 1x soprano, 1x alto, 1x tenor, 1x bari, 3 tpts, 3 troms, 1x eupho, 1x tuba and rhythm. There is a traditional full big band version available which has superior editing.
