Melisande's Death is the final movement of Sibelius' beautiful eight-movement tone poem Pelleas et Melisande, op. 46. This passionate and sorrowful music is scored for marimba choir (including bass marimba), and vibraphone.

About the OU Percussion Press
In 1977 the OU Percussion Orchestra and Ensemble embarked on a project that developed into a national model for the encouragement and development of new music for percussion ensemble.
