"How the Grinch Stole Christmas" is one of Dr. Seuss's most beloved books, and Chuck Jones's 1966 animated TV special has become an iconic part of the holiday season. This Chris Magee arrangement features two well-known songs from the TV show: "Welcome Christmas", which is sung by the Whos in Whoville, and "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch."
The medley begins with the joyful "Welcome Christmas", and is followed by a bluesy setting of "You're A Mean One Mr. Grinch", with your tuba player portraying the Grinch. There is a trombone solo, and your trombonist may either ad lib or play the included written suggested solo. Your holiday audiences will love this medley!
