This work was commissioned by Tracey Cheatham in memory of her son, Arias "Air" Lockheart, to whom she always referred as her "favorite winter storm" because he was born on December 29, 1990, during one of the worst snow storms that his hometown had ever seen. His untimely passing on May 22, 2021, has left Tracey and her family searching for a rainbow.
