The theme of this medley is about someone who discovers their spouse/partner is cheating and the subsequent reactions to rid them from the relationship. The song refers to their loved one coming home late, a busy day, a lot on their mind, their own feelings being ignored, seeing a couple kissing with one of them being their partner, not being loved, not being a fool, being let down, leaving, being strung along, moving on, being blind (figuratively), push has come to shove, worth the price, being done, buckin’ (referring to being kicked, or “bucked” out of the relationship).
This clever and entertaining arrangement tells the story of breakup and uses the music choices to create a standoff and dismissal of someone who cheated on them. This arrangement has a vocal splash and a short dance break, and can be done in a novelty or comedic staging. This arrangement is designed for high school or college show choir, concert choir or community choir.
