Beautiful SOLO FLUTE arrangement of the piece: "Meditation" (from the opera "Thais") by Jules Massenet.
This arrangement transforms the original piece (composed for violin) into a version for FLUTE that fits to the "tessitura" (range) of this instrument. The “Meditation” is part of the opera “Thaïs” and is one of the most beloved compositions by French composer Jules Massenet. The opera premiered at the Opéra Garnier in Paris on March 16, 1894 and this piece is originally a symphonic intermezzo in Act II.
